The 50 Best Office Outfits for 2023 (both Casual and Corporate)

Xiomara X

The birds are a sight to behold during spring. If you’re lucky enough to work in an office with a big view, you may feel envious. The flowers and trees are in bloom, and the weather has finally begun to warm.

You can now wear clothes that are a little shorter and lighter. It’s important to layer and carry a jacket, but spring fashion is fun, whether you dress casually or corporately. We think so!

1. Dark blue skinny pants and ruffled Herringbone Jacket

This is a clever way to circumvent the possible “no jeans” rule that may be in place at the workplace. Many employers frown on them because they are too casual. You can look great in a pair dark wide-leg pants paired with a white shirt and a herringbone jacket. Your boss won’t even notice.

2. Printed halter top with solid skirt and blazer

We don’t recommend wearing a halter-top without a jacket because of the amount of exposed shoulders and back. If you have a blazer or pencil skirt that complements your top, it can create a stunning visual effect.

3. The striped blazer is paired with a ruffled top that has no sleeves.

Ruffles are a huge trend right now, so we thought it would be fun to share this look. The ruffles on this outfit are a great contrast to the stripes of the jacket. But the color combination is also stunning. Orange is a summer color we all look forward to, so be one of the first to wear it.

4. White pants with a beige polka-dot top and an orange cardigan

Another way to wear the color orange. Polka dots make for a great outfit, even though it is not Memorial Day yet. You can still wear your white pants. Accessorize your outfit with darker shades (like the ones you see here) instead of lighter colors.

5. Light denim jacket, neon yellow maxi dress and white camisole

Wearing neon is best in the spring and summer. Yellow represents sunshine so it is a great choice for work. Maxi skirts compliment almost any woman’s shape and are very comfortable. And if you’re like us, you might not have thought to pair it up with a light denim jacket until now but…doesn’t it make so much sense?

6. Brown dress with animal-print cardigan

Do you have a weakness when it comes to animal prints? If you don’t have one yet, why not buy an animal-print cardigan? Add a little blue to the neutrals. Maybe a leather bag like the one in this photo.

7. Pink and taupe on the whole

Nice. The combination of pink and taupe, or nude (if you prefer), is a pretty light color in the big picture but it looks rich over time. Finding the right shade is key; this one is more coral. The printed scarf and striped skirt are both super trendy. Yes, this is a great look.

8. Cardigan, skirt and tank with printed jean flares

We like this outfit. This outfit is adorable. But we will still say it. If you’re going to wear this combination, be sure your tank is slightly longer than your cardigan. Also, your cardigan shouldn’t be too big. You could look bigger with a flared skirt if your top half of clothing doesn’t fit properly.

9. White collar shirt with navy cardigan, and goldenrod pleated skirt

This is a pretty conservative outfit, but it’s always a good idea to have at least one hanging up in your closet—just n case. Goldenrod is an elegant shade of yellow, and the brown pumps look great with navy. It can be worn with a shirt, tank top or jeans.

10. Argyle sweater and pencil skirt

We will never tire of argyle. The key is to look for the kind that comes in distinctive color combinations—like evergreen, chocolate and white. You can wear this with or without a blazer. This means that you can use it in the spring when it is cooler and towards the end of the season, when it gets warmer.

11. Striped casual wear and solid cardigan

Casual outfit ideas for workIf you are known to jump out of bed at the last minute and have only a few moments (literally!) to get ready, you may want to invest in multiple looks. You won’t need to iron the dress if it is made of polyester. It’s also very light and comfortable to wear.

12. Lemon yellow blazer and grey pencil skirt with a light yellow sleeveless shirt

Sincerity is the best policy. Lemon is just another version of neon yellow. It’s just a little bit softer. It’s crucial to follow the look to the “t”. If you use too much light grey, it will ruin the look. Make sure to include at least one dark gray item in your wardrobe.

13. Black dress with taupe jacket

You can wear taupe a number of different ways. This color can look great with black, instead of white. Silver and gold accessories will work well.

14. White flare pants with matching lace top and orange blazer

Consider wearing this shade of orange. The orange blazer adds some texture to the overall look, while the white lace top gives it some added dimension. The wedge heels have a corkscrew effect.

15. All white with mint tank

The mint shade will be a popular one this year. So if you find it on a blouse or a skirt, then it is worth investing in. It looks great with grey and white. This is a great look to wear in and outside the office. What do you think?

16. Grey pants, light-peach blazer, and off-white tanktop

Do you enjoy neutrals and pastels? This blazer’s color is the perfect mix of neutrals and pastels. You can either wear an off-white tank underneath like you see in this picture or even a nude color of you want to “throw people off a bit”—in a super modest way. The flats are very nice.

17. Dark grey slacks with white cardigans and navy blue tanks

Gray, white and blue are all conservative colors. They are still as striking as the other looks we’ve seen. This outfit looks great because it has a cardigan instead of a jacket, giving the look a more relaxed feel.

18. Hot pink printed top with white straight-leg pants

This is the perfect time to wear that floral-print top you have lying around your house! In spring, the flowers are in full bloom and you will look as beautiful as if you were one. Hot pink is a vibrant and happy color. They will smile at you every time.

19. Top with pleats in peach and off-white pants

The whole thing screams “SPRINGTIME!” This is all over. Peach is known to have this effect on people. This is also a great example of a trend that has been making its way onto the runways: pleats. If they’re on a fabric such as silk or satin, then they tend to flow very femininely.

20. Chocolate and pink combination

Pink and brown. This is a beautiful color combination. What about the style of this blazer, too? When you have a blazer that looks this good, the sky is truly the limit. You can also imagine the pencil skirt in pink, and the blazer in brown. It would still look just as amazing.

21. Grey flare pants with a taupe sleeveless blouse

It’s easy to create neutrals. When the taupe top is paired with the grey pants, it’s difficult to tell whether the pants are brown or grey. We like it because of that. Here’s a great example of how white pumps can be stunning. This is especially true if your pants have a long hemline.

22. Marsala dress featuring flared skirt and tan cardigan

23 Great-Looking (Corporate and Casual) Work Outfits

Marsala was a color that was big last year and although it’s not trending quite as strongly now, we still like it a lot because it is such a warm color that blends in with so many things—like a tan cardigan, for example. Dresses with flared skirts give off a youthful look that is suitable for women of all ages.

23. Dark jeans with printed camisole, solid short blazer

Your workplace may have something similar to “Casual Thursdays”. If so, you can wear this look to both work and to Happy Hour afterward. We like everything about it—from head-to-toe. You might wear a flat or wedge heel to work. Save the heels for later. Your feet will be ready for the dance floor. You can dance if you like!
